ULTRA TRANSMISSION was founded in 1989 and incorporated in 1991.

Our business has grown steadily throughout the years...

June 1989 - Ultra Transmission started operations in a 2100 sq. foot location.
May 1993 - construction of a new building began at 1037 Springfield Road.
August 1997 - our remanufacturing facility was relocated next door to 1031 Springfield Road. Our service area remained at 1037 Springfield Road and expanded to occupy the entire building.
October 1999 - we doubled our remanufacturing area at 1031 Springfield Road to 6000 sq. feet. 
June 2006 - after extensive renovations, we relocated our service departments and offices to 1031 Springfield Road. Our business now occupies an ultra modern 13,000 square foot facility.

Home of our service centre
A complete service centre utilizing seven hoists able to accommodate most mid-sized and large trucks, fleet and commercial vehicles. Our personnel have years of technical expertise and specialize in both automatic and standard transmissions. We repair 4WD and AWD transfer cases and differentials for domestic and most import vehicles. We offer a complete line of standard clutches as well as axle boots, u-joints, drive shafts and oil coolers. We also provide repair services to other vehicles including agricultural, off-road and industrial units.


ULTRA TRANSMISSION is an authorized repair shop for LUBRICO, WYNN’S, PHH, AUTO SHIELD and G.E. CAPITAL warranties.

We are members of the Better Business Bureau and The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce.
 

   

Home of our remanufacturing facility
A professionally staffed remanufacturing and testing facility employing the latest computer diagnostic equipment. All remanufactured transmissions are dyno-tested in our facility to ensure a problem free unit. We incorporate in-house training for all employees so they can perform their job efficiently and continue to meet our high standards. We also specialize in Allison series transmissions. Each transmission is meticulously rebuilt to factory tolerances with original Allison parts and then undergoes thorough testing to ensure optimum performance.
